1. Purpose
These terms of use (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the irs-rp.com website. By browsing the site or creating an account, you accept these Terms without reservation.
2. A work of fiction
irs-rp.com is a fictional role-play website. It is not official and has no connection with the Internal Revenue Service or any real administration. The businesses, returns, taxes, payment plans, refunds and amounts shown on it are imaginary.
- Never enter real information: legal identity, address, bank details, tax number, official documents.
- Never use a password that you use on another website.
- No real payment is requested or accepted on the site. Any request for a real payment in the name of the IRS must be treated as a scam.
3. Access to the site
The site is free to access. Viewing public pages does not require an account. Some features (returns, payment plan or refund requests, tracking of reports) are reserved for signed-in users.
The publisher endeavors to keep the site available, without any guarantee of result. It may suspend, change or discontinue all or part of it at any time, in particular for maintenance.
4. Account
- The account is created with your character's last and first name, a username and a password.
- You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for the actions taken from your account.
- An account is personal. It is forbidden to impersonate another player or to use someone else's account.
- Accounts with full access (administration) are assigned by the site team.
- The publisher may suspend or delete an account in the event of a breach of these Terms or of the role-play server's rules.
5. Rules of conduct
By using the site, you agree not to:
- publish or send unlawful, abusive, discriminatory or defamatory content, or content that infringes the privacy of others;
- submit false or malicious reports;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, the administration area or the servers, or disrupt the operation of the site (mass sending, bots, exploits);
- use the site, its name or its appearance to deceive people outside the role-play.
6. Submitted content
The returns, requests, comments, links and reports you submit are part of the role-play. You guarantee that they do not infringe anyone's rights.
The site team may view them, process them as part of the game (approval, rejection, note), and delete those that do not comply with these Terms. The links you provide (accounts, evidence) point to documents for which you remain responsible.
7. Liability
The calculations, amounts, deadlines and rules shown on the site apply only within the role-play universe and in no way constitute real tax, legal or financial advice.
The publisher cannot be held liable for interruptions of the site, loss of game data, or any use of the site or its content outside the role-play.
8. Personal data
The processing of data related to your use of the site is described in the privacy policy, and the use of cookies in the cookie policy.
9. Changes to the Terms
These Terms may be changed at any time. The version in force is the one published on this page, with its update date.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by French law.
